“Lara’s Shadow” is a downloadable content (DLC) package for the 2008 game “Tomb Raider: Underworld.” It was released in March 2009 for the Xbox 360 version of the game.
The DLC features a new level set in an alternate version of the game’s final level, in which players control Lara’s doppelganger, a dark version of Lara with her own unique abilities and moves. The level takes place after the events of the main game, and follows the doppelganger as she seeks revenge against Lara for imprisoning her in the underworld.
The gameplay in “Lara’s Shadow” is similar to that of “Tomb Raider: Underworld,” with an emphasis on exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat. The doppelganger has her own set of moves and abilities, such as the ability to create shadow clones of herself, which can be used to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.
“Lara’s Shadow” was generally well-received by critics, who praised its level design, puzzle-solving, and the addition of the doppelganger character. However, some critics felt that the DLC was too short and did not offer enough new content to justify its price.
